Excellence in Engineering Award

This Illinois Chapter award each year honors 10 or more outstanding projects that apply new technology especially well, make cost-effective use of the owner’s investment, or meet tough challenges with unique approaches. This Illinois Chapter award recognizes outstanding engineering work. Winners are requested to submit their projects to the Region VI competition; if successful, they may submit their project next to the Society program. Information about the award may be obtained at the ASHRAE Society Web site. The submission should be sent to Tom Kroeschell at the Illinois Chapter.  The chapter submission deadline for entries is October 15.
